In English, we are currently reading Secret Life of Bees. It's a great book, and I definitely recommend it. But, it has a lot to do with the guilt that I feel right now--
It was my sister's birthday on Tuesday (Mikaela's birthday), and now she's 7!! The baby's growing up! At this very moment, she has five friends over to celebrate. Of course, with so many people, there wasn't enough room at the table to eat dinner, so I went to my room. After I had finished my pizza, I pondered whether I should watch a movie, or try to get some homework out of the way. During my debate, I saw a bee on the floor, and didn't think. I grabbed the first "weapon" I could find (it was a roll of tape...) and I put my pizza plate over it, and smashed the roll of tape on the plate. Ahhh. I must have lifted the lid ten times, and maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me, but every time, the bee moved, so I would smash it again!! Even then, I wasn't simply killing the bee, I was murdering it! Oh my goodness. I feel awful, but I didn't want it in my room. Oh dear!
Maybe he doesn't look so cute, but I mean.....
how could anyone kill a cutie like this. Or after you see the movie, how can you kill a bee when every time you think of this fella.

25 Days left. We'll be heading out soon. We've already started packing, but there is still so much more to do! With that, I better head off. =D
